Pedro Matrola has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Pedro is currently employed at Linkare TI as a Technical Leader/Senior Software Engineer since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at RUPEAL from December 2016 to October 2019 as a Senior Consultant. Pedro also held a similar position at KWAN: Love, Respect, Community/Rupeal during the same time period. In 2016, they worked at Xpand IT (Cetelem) as a Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for the development and migration of services. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Technical Leader/Senior Software Engineer at Coderhat c|:. There, they worked on various roles including Analyst and Programmer Android/Java, Analyst and Programmer Java, and Programmer. In 2011, they worked as a Java Programmer and Analyst and Programmer of Java/Javascript at Coderhat c|: (BBVA). Prior to that, in 2011, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at FTC - Faculdade de Tecnologia e Ciências, where they developed a Netbeans Module. In 2010, they were involved in System Development and Maintenance of the Institute of Vine and Wine at Novageo Solutions. Pedro started their career in 2008 as a Java Consultant at Linkare TI, where they developed web services for social security and applications related to payment channels. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Former at Vantagem+ Consultores de Formação, Lda.

Pedro Matrola completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Polytechnic of Leiria, from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia Universidade de Coimbra, which they completed from 2006 to 2011.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Pedro Matrola obtained a certification as an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer in June 2012 from Oracle.
