Alexander Max Kaplan has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2006 as a Pre-Elementary Spanish Teacher at Senate Employees Child Care Center on Capitol Hill for Lessons from Abroad. In 2007, they worked as an Intern for Brown Brothers Harriman in the Investor Services: Americas Management Group. Alexander Max also worked as a High School Spanish Teacher at Emerson Preparatory School in 2007. In 2010, they were an Account Executive for TransPerfect Translations and also founded Alex Kaplan Art Projects, which focuses on the representation of emerging and global Latin American painters. In 2014, they became a Real Estate Specialist for Spectrum Realty Group LLC and in 2019, they founded and became the CEO of Linguado, a free mobile app that allows users to link with native speakers of the language they desire.
Alexander Max Kaplan attended The George Washington University School of Business from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of International Business with a focus in Spanish Language & Literature. Alexander Max also attended Universidad de Sevilla - Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales from 2006 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, focusing on Intl Finance, Intl Marketing, Accounting, Economics, and Spanish Cinema. In 2010, they attended the University of Cambridge and earned a CELTA in English Language Instruction.
