Mark Harris has a solid work experience in the telecommunications and technology industry. Mark started their career at Birch Communications in 2006 as Director of Product Development & Integration, where they were responsible for developing and integrating new products. Mark then moved on to Cbeyond in 2012 as a Senior Product Manager, where they played a key role in relaunching their Broadsoft-based hosted PBX solution and expanding their national coverage. During their time at Cbeyond, they achieved a 70% annual sales increase and a 300% expansion of the company's Metro Ethernet national coverage. In 2015, Mark joined AI Lambda as a Product Consultant & Scientist before transitioning to Lingo Communications in 2016. At Lingo Communications, they initially served as Director of IT & Product Development, and later took on the role of Director of Product Development & Business Analytics in 2018. Mark's most recent work experience is at Oorsprong Science, where they currently hold the position of Research and Development Scientist since 2019.

Mark Harris has an extensive education history. In 1989, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Birmingham. During the same year, they also became a member of the Institute of Physics. In 1997, they obtained the Chartered Engineer designation from the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
