Sharon Akshikar has been working in the tech industry since 2001. Sharon began their career as a Practical Engineer in the Telecommunication Development Team for the Israel Defense Forces. In 2004, they joined AudioCodes as an Integration Practical Engineer, where they were responsible for system integration of VOIP servers, designing and implementing final tests for VOIP PBXs, writing work procedures, conducting employee training, and having extensive knowledge in Solaris system. In 2011, they moved to Broadcom as a System Integration Engineer. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at DSP Group as a Firmware Engineer and Validation Engineer and Automation Development. Currently, Sharon is a Software Engineer at Lingacom Ltd.

Sharon Akshikar obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Holon Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2012.
