Avi Paley is a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue University, actively involved with Purdue Electric Racing as a Drivetrain Team Member since August 2017. Responsibilities include designing and validating motor mounting brackets, transitioning to an all-wheel-drive system, and implementing motor systems for mechanical power transfer. Previous experience includes internships at Apple and Cummins Inc., where analysis and engineering skills were applied to address fuel pump failures and conduct measurement uncertainty analysis. Additionally, Avi has volunteered at the Milwaukee JCC Food Pantry, supporting food distribution efforts and assisting fellow volunteers. Education culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, with a focus on personal and professional development.
