Rebecca Smoot, M.Ed., currently serves as an Instructional Coach at Lincolnwood School District 74, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Rebecca held roles at Great Lakes Academy Charter School, including Curriculum and Instructional Coach and Literacy Content Specialist, where support was provided to kindergarten to fourth-grade teachers in literacy instruction. Additional experience includes positions as Teacher Leader and Third Grade Teacher at Guilford County Schools, and various roles in education as part of Teach For America and during internships. Rebecca earned a Master's degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from James Madison University.
