Hadi Pir is a Co-Founder and Vice President of Yazda and has served as an English Teacher for English Language Learners at Lincoln Public Schools since January 2016. With prior experience in job training at AmeriCorps and as a Media Assistant at Ipsos, Hadi Pir also possesses extensive interpretation experience, having worked with various organizations, including the US Army and Global Linguist Solutions, in roles that supported crisis training initiatives for Iraqi police officers. Hadi Pir earned a Master of Arts in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education, a Teacher certificate in ESL/ELL, and a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of Mosul. Currently, Hadi Pir is pursuing a PhD in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
