Mende Kemper has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the District Health Coordinator for Lincoln County School District since October 2017, while also working as a Public Health Nurse for Lincoln County Health Department since August 2003. Prior to these roles, Mende served as an ICU Nurse at Forest Park Hospital from May 2001 to August 2003. Mende completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) at Deaconess College of Nursing from 1997 to 2001 and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1993 to 1996.
