Julia Judge is a highly accomplished artistic administrator, freelance producer, and programmer. Julia has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, having worked with some of the most prestigious names in film.
Julia Judge began their career in 1985 as a freelance researcher for the New York Public Library. Julia quickly moved up the ranks, becoming an associate producer for the Library Lions video segment in 1987. That same year, they began working as an assistant to Martin Scorsese on various projects. Julia continued to work with Scorsese Productions until 1991.
In 1998, Judge began working as an associate producer for Paradox Pictures. Julia worked on the 35mm feature film Pete's Meteor, which was shot in Ireland and starred Mike Myers, Brenda Fricker, and Alfred Molina. Julia continued working with Paradox Pictures until 2000.
From 2001 to 2009, Judge worked as a creative consultant for InDigent. Julia also served as a consultant for the Movies by Moonlight outdoor summer film series and the Film Society of Lincoln Center's New Irish Cinema series. In addition, they programmed for the Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema and the NYU/Ireland House Irish Film Festival.
In 2009, Judge became an artistic consultant for the Shooting Gallery Foundation. Julia also began writing a monthly arts column for Irish America Magazine. In their current role as artistic administrator at Lincoln Center Theater, Judge continues to showcase their passion for film and theatre.
Julia Judge's educational career began with a BA in English from Pace University-Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus. Julia then went on to earn a BA in English Literature from Pace University. After that, they attended Stella Maris High School in Rockaway Beach, NYC, and finally St. Camillus School in Rockaway Beach, NYC.
They are on a team with Daniel Swee - Casting Director, Rachel Norton - Associate Director of Development, and Hattie K. Jutagir - Executive Director of Development & Planning. Julia Judge reports to André Bishop, Producing Artistic Director.
