Chris West is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Linamar's McLaren Engineering group since September 2010, Chris oversees core engineering functions including bearings, seals, gears, NVH, and CAE. Prior to this, Chris had a notable tenure at Eaton Automotive from July 1992 to August 2010, where responsibilities included leading the Alternative Market Program Management and Engineering for Torque Control Products and managing cross-functional teams across various global locations. Chris's early career includes roles as Project Engineer at M.C. Aerospace Corporation, focusing on hydraulic controls for aircraft, and as Design Engineer at Holcroft/Loftus and Detroit Tool Industries, specializing in industrial equipment design. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.
