Valter Barbio serves as an IE Professor specializing in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Marketing at IE Business School since January 2024. With extensive experience in digital strategy and marketing, Valter has held the role of Responsable de Estrategia y Marketing B2C for LIN3S ≡ Agencia Digital since August 2020 and co-founded ALGARTUR.COM in January 2015. Valter is also a Google Adwords Consultant for Best Western® Hotels & Resorts and previously served as a Performance Consultant for Best Western Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto. As Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of GDS Ti, Valter contributed significantly to technology solutions from February 2011 to December 2020. Additionally, Valter founded Barbio Web & App Consulting, focusing on helping tourism companies enhance online sales. Academic credentials include a degree in Engenharia de Sistemas e Informática from Universidade do Algarve and business coaching from Google.
