Billy Johnson is a Senior Scientist at LimnoTech since July 2021, previously serving as a Research Civil Engineer with the Environmental Laboratory of the US Army Corps of Engineers from 2001 to July 2021. In this role, Billy acted as focus area manager and senior research team leader for complex water quality and contaminant modeling projects, taking responsibility as the senior principal investigator for interdisciplinary environmental research. Earlier experience includes roles as Principal Environmental Modeler at Concurrent Technologies Corporation (2000-2001), and Research Hydraulic Engineer at the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, USACE (1991-2000). Billy also worked as Hydraulic Engineer at the Memphis District, USACE from 1987 to 1991. Academic credentials include a PhD in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University (1995-1997), an MS in Civil Engineering from Memphis State University (1989-1993), and a BS in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University (1982-1987).
