Nelson Leon

Senior Director Of Information Technology at LIM College

Nelson Leon has extensive work experience in various leadership and IT roles. Nelson started in 1994 as a co-owner of The Bagel House and Bagel House 3, where they were responsible for various tasks such as location scouting, negotiation, hiring, and day-to-day operations. Nelson then transitioned to One Wired World, where they served as a Help Desk Technician, Systems Engineer, and Senior Engineer, providing services to various clients. In 2003, they became an IT Systems Specialist at Modell's Sporting Goods, supporting the warehouse and providing technical support. Nelson later co-founded Tech on the Spot, INC. in 2005, focusing on providing technology support to professional service businesses. In 2006, they joined LIM College as the Director of Information Technology Operations and eventually became the Director of Information Technology, leading the transformation of the IT department and supervising a team. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Information Technology at LIM College, overseeing IT functions and strategic partnerships.

Nelson Leon holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which was obtained in 2012. Nelson also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Network Communications Management from DeVry University. In addition, they attended St. John's University, but no degree or field of study information is available for this institution. Nelson completed high school at St. Francis Prep in 1992.
