Michiel Beerens has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. In 2011, they co-founded MBSV Events and remained involved until 2014. From 2016 to 2019, Michiel worked at Mikrocentrum as a Project Manager, where they organized B2B knowledge and networking events for high tech manufacturing companies. In 2019, they joined Volkswagen of America, Inc as a Project Buyer, a position they held until April 2022. Currently, Michiel is working at Lightyear as a Senior Project Buyer, starting in April 2022.

Michiel Beerens attended Eindhoven University of Technology from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued studies in Innovation Management. Following this, they enrolled at Tilburg University from 2010 to 2014, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics & Finance.
