Rod Stout has been in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years. Rod started their career at XO Communications, where they were responsible for the design, engineering, launch, and maintenance of emerging markets. Rod then moved to Cisco Systems, where they were an account executive for the Optical Networking Group. In this role, they focused on large enterprise sales to service providers and private enterprise. Rod also integrated optical systems into existing infrastructure. Rod then moved to Qwest Communications, where they were a major account executive responsible for large enterprise sales in the Salt Lake City market. In April 2003, they co-founded Lightstream, a telecommunications company that provides innovative solutions for businesses of all sizes. Under their leadership, Lightstream has become a leading provider of VoIP, cloud PBX, and SIP trunking services.
Rod Stout has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
