Andrew Chien serves as the Assistant General Counsel and Head of Litigation and Enterprise Risk at Lightspeed Commerce since December 2021, following roles as Head of Commercial Legal and Assistant General Counsel for North America. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Lawyer at Baker McKenzie from August 2015 to December 2021, where Andrew specialized in IPTech and technology transactions, advising Fortune 100 clients on cross-border transactions and drafting complex commercial agreements. Andrew's earlier roles include articling student and summer associate positions at Baker McKenzie and HOOPP, respectively. Andrew holds a J.D. from Queen's University and a B.Sc. in Medical Cell Biology from Western University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from Upper Canada College.
