Paul Lear has a work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Paul most recently served as the Head of Planning at Lightspeed Broadband Limited starting from July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Technical Planner at Virgin Media from January 2021 to July 2021. Starting in July 2019, Paul worked as a City Planner at CityFibre until January 2021. Before joining CityFibre, they held the position of Fibre, Civil's & Network Planner at Virgin Media from October 2012 to July 2019.

Paul Lear attended Solihull Sixth Form College from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
