George Zokaris is an accomplished professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Commercial Manager for Lightsource bp in Greece since January 2022, where responsibilities include structuring and negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and engaging in renewable energy source auction mechanisms. Prior to this role, George worked at MYTILINEOS S.A. in Energy Portfolio Management, optimizing a significant thermal generation portfolio and participating in electricity market activities. George's earlier experience includes a role as a Quality & Control Analyst for the Hellenic Air Force, alongside a summer internship at Elpen Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. George holds an MSc in Global Energy Management from Strathclyde Business School and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras.
