Urska Jelercic is an accomplished research leader with extensive experience in computer vision, deep learning, and time series analysis. Currently serving as Team Lead for Facetune and Photoleap at Lightricks since May 2021, Urska oversees vertical research teams focused on image processing applications. Previous roles include deep learning research and project collaborations with Anodot and Healthy.io, enhancing forecasting and medical image analysis, respectively. Urska's educational background includes a PhD in Theoretical Biophysics from the University of Ljubljana and a significant postdoctoral fellowship. Notable achievements encompass developing a complex theoretical model of cell organelles and winning a gold medal in the prestigious iGEM competition.
