Elkana Baris currently serves as Researcher Lead at Lightricks since May 2022, following a tenure as Algorithm Engineer at Mobileye where focus was on deep learning for object detection. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Graduate Student at Zuk Lab - HUJI, where Elkana completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Computational Biology, and as a Data Scientist Intern at YACAIS. Elkana also worked at Cisco as a Data Scientist, addressing machine learning challenges in applied settings, and served as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem for both machine learning and operating systems courses. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Computational Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
