Danny was a co-founder and president at Tamale Software, Inc. and Director of Research for 033 Asset Management LLC. Previously, he was a Credit Derivatives Trader at Merrill Lynch and developed a risk management system used by their Latin American credit derivatives desk.
While working at buy- and sell-side investment firms, Danny became frustrated with the lack of accessibility and functionality of tools that purportedly āhelpedā manage investments and trading. His experiences led him to formulate the idea of a research management system (RMS) software and how it could dovetail into an investment professionalās workflow, especially in the increasingly competitive alternative asset management space.
As a founder of Tamale, Danny was responsible for the direction the RMS took from version to version, incorporating client discussions, suggestions, wish-lists, and reactions in this pioneering software sphere. These days, if he is not brainstorming new ideas with clients and consultants, problem-solving implementations with engineers and client services staff, or discussing new investment ideas, Danny can be found running, biking, or sculling ā far slower than he used to in the waters and roadways on both coasts.
Danny graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard College with a degree in Computer Science and a sub-concentration in Economics.
