Michael Burnes is an experienced operations professional and strategist, currently serving in operations roles at BASE Equity Partners and The Lighting Design Group, while also holding the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Fortis Security Products since July 2019. Previously, Michael has contributed as a Director at The Great Lakes Towing Company and Great Lakes Shipyard from February 2016 to December 2023, and worked as a Manager in Financial Services at Ernst & Young from August 2011 to February 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Philosophy from Washington and Lee University.
