Wilfred Soetekouw began their work experience in 1997 as a Software Engineer at Huisman Elektrotechniek Druten. Wilfred then worked their way up to become a Team Leader and Lead Engineer of Industrial Automation. In 2012, Soetekouw joined Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions as a Software Engineer and later became the Lead Software Engineer. Wilfred has been with Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions since 2012.

Wilfred Soetekouw completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation from Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1997. Wilfred also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation from Hogeschool 's-Hertogenbosch during the same period. Prior to that, they attended MTS Elektrotechniek Oss from 1990 to 1994, where they graduated with a degree in Installatietechniek.
