Evgeny Morozov

Director of Advanced Product Solutions at Light Polymers, Inc.

Evgeny Morozov has a diverse work experience in the fields of engineering, research, and product development. From 2003 to 2013, they worked at the International Laser Centre of Lomonosov Moscow State University as a Researcher, studying nonlinear frequency conversion processes in application to quantum optics and quantum theory of information. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at Universite du Maine (France), Laboratoire de Physique de l’Etat Condense as a PostDoc, building an experimental setup for all-optical generation and detection of the picosecond acoustic pulses by femtosecond lasers. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Cryscade Inc. as CTO/Program Manager, designing new organic photovoltaic materials and devices, and developing transparent conductive electrodes on the base of ordered graphene-like structures. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Ribtan Batteries as Program Manager, designing intrinsically ordered electrodes for Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Romny Scientific, Inc. as Principal Research Engineer, designing thermoelectric materials/modules/systems for cooling and power generation applications. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have worked at Light Polymers as Director of Advanced Product Solutions and R&D Group Leader for Product Solutions, providing technical leadership in characterization and implementing adequate properties of lyotropic liquid crystals to various markets, and proposing and prioritizing the list of more than 10 possible applications for proprietary lyotropic liquid crystal materials.

Evgeny Morozov attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 1993 to 2003 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Laser physics and quantum optics.
