Principal Solutions Architect - Big Data at LigaData

Mohammad Hamdan has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and data management. Mohammad started their career at Aspire Services in 2013, where they worked as an IT-Operation Engineer. Their responsibilities included deploying and administering Oracle databases, troubleshooting databases, managing Linux RedHat servers, and conducting shell scripting and automation tasks.

In 2015, Mohammad moved on to work at Unifonic Inc as an Infrastructure & Big Data Engineer. Here, they focused on implementing, deploying, and administrating Big Data systems, NoSQL databases, MySQL, Apache, and Hadoop. Mohammad gained expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing big data systems such as Hadoop-HDFS, SQOOP, Oozie, Hive, Hbase, Zookeeper, and Solr.

Currently, Mohammad is working at LigaData as a Big Data Solution Architect since 2017. In this role, they lead Hadoop and infrastructure architecture design, implements clusters, provides best practices for implementation and configuration, and ensures the smooth operation of the implemented ecosystem with the latest technologies and security measures.

Overall, Mohammad has demonstrated their proficiency in various areas of technology, including database management, Linux administration, and Big Data systems, highlighting their ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities in the field.

Mohammad Hamdan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Al-Balqa' Applied University (BAU) from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they received certification as an Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator, as well as certification in Oracle Solaris 11 System Administration, both obtained in December 2014.
