Zaifei Ye has a long history of work experience. Starting in 2001, Ye was a Senior Software Engineer at Powermarket. In 2002, Ye moved to MyBuys as a Software Engineer. In 2006, Ye was Lead Developer at Entriq. In 2008, Ye was a Dev Team Lead at The Active Network. In 2010, Ye became a Senior Software Engineer II at Barnes & Noble. Finally, in 2016, Ye became VP Engineering at Liftians Inc.

Zaifei Ye attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1986 to 1990.
