Michael Cain worked as a Sales Manager at Lifestory starting from April 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Professional Advisor at McCarthy & Stone from December 2007 to March 2015. Michael also worked as a Buyer at Clements Watford from October 1991 to September 2001.

Michael Cain attended Watford Grammar School for Boys from 1977 to 1984. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology at UCL from 1984 to 1988.
