Alfred Reszka has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Alfred most recently served as Chief Business Officer at Lifescience Dynamics Limited, where they played a key role in shaping strategy, driving strategic planning, and enhancing customer experience. Alfred also oversaw new business acquisition and facilitated consensus and alignment throughout the organization. Prior to this, Alfred held the position of Co-Chair at Pharma CI Conference from 2017 to 2019.
Before their time at Lifescience Dynamics, Alfred worked at Merck for over two decades. Alfred held various executive positions, including Executive Director and Head of Strategic Business Intelligence, Executive Director of Strategic Planning, Senior Director of Corporate Development, and Head of Analytics and CI Business Processes. In these roles, they provided scientific competitive intelligence analysis to support decision-making in research, licensing, and marketing initiatives. Alfred also designed and developed infrastructure support for scientific and business intelligence.
Alfred's earlier experience includes positions at Merck as Director of Corporate Licensing/Competitive Intelligence, Senior Research Fellow, and Research Fellow. In these roles, they conducted drug discovery research in the bone anabolics area and led post-marketing efforts to investigate the mechanism of action of FOSAMAX.
Alfred began their career as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Washington, where they honed their research skills before entering the pharmaceutical industry.
Alfred Reszka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Alfred also pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a PhD in Cell Biology.
