Dory A. (Lombardo) Kurowski has over 15 years of experience conducting corporate and investor communications for life science companies. She has worked both in-house at biopharmaceutical companies and for various life science clients at agencies, and therefore brings. the perspective of both sides to investor communications. Prior to joining LifeSci Advisors, Dory served as Director of Corporate Affairs at Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and the head of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at Emisphere Technologies, Inc. Dory also served on the communications steering committee with Wyeth before and after Progenicsā€™ first product, RELISTORĀ® was approved. Prior to being in-house, Dory worked for Feinstein Kean Partners, Morgen-Walke and LaVoie Strategic Communications with a wide range of life science clients, helping them pre- and post-IPO to craft their value propositions to the investment community and gain media exposure. During this time, she also was part of Biotechnology Industry Organizationā€™s investor steering committee and organized the first thought leader panels for the annual BIO CEO and Investor Conference. Dory began her career in the life sciences as a Director of Research for Ledbetter Davidson International, a retained executive recruitment firm that was instrumental in placing many leading pharmaceutical and biotech executives. Dory holds a B.A. in Psychology from Manhattanville College and completed elective graduate work at NYU Stern School of Business and Boston College Carroll School of Management.
