Peter Keenan currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer at Lifepoint Health® since June 2023, overseeing operations at Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital. Previously, Peter Keenan worked with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. Additional roles include Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing at Correct Care Recovery Solutions, Director of Psychiatric Services at Steward Carney Hospital, and leadership positions at Plantation General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, including Nursing Director of Surgical Intermediate Units. Peter Keenan has also served as an Academic Administrator and Faculty at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and as an Adjunct Faculty member at Northeastern University. Peter Keenan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University.
