Chris Frost currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer & Chief Quality Officer for Lifepoint Health®, overseeing Lifepoint Communities and acting as the National Medical Director of Hospital Based Services since March 2016. Previously, Chris held the position of President at the Society of Hospital Medicine from 2019 to 2020, and served as Chief Medical Officer of Hospital Based Providers at HCA's Physician Services Group from July 2010 to March 2016. Experience also includes roles at TeamHealth as CMO of Hospital Medicine and Regional Medical Director from January 2005 to June 2010. Chris Frost earned an MD in Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency and an Internal Medicine Chief Residency at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and holds a BS and BA in Biology and Psychology from Oglethorpe University.
