Shannon Petrello serves as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at LifeMoves, the largest provider of interim housing and supportive services in Silicon Valley, starting in January 2023. Prior to this role, Shannon was Campaign Director at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, overseeing a successful $150M Capital Campaign, and also served as Individual Philanthropy Officer, managing a $6M portfolio. Other notable positions include Director of Development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, Director of Development at the Redwood City Education Foundation, and Director of Development for Environmental Volunteers. Shannon's early career included roles at Streetside Stories, Peralta Hacienda Historical Park, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Education includes a BA in Film Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Fine Arts in Mass Communications and Media Arts from Southern Illinois University, and a Certificate of Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
