From 2016 to 2021, they were the Founder & CEO of MOZI AI, a company developing A.I. From 2014 to 2016, they were Manager of Business Development & Project Delivery at BEE - Bisagni Environmental Enterprise, an engineering consultancy. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Associate at CM Venture Capital, where they were involved in Open Innovation Consulting & Venture Evaluation. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Director at NextStep, an organization which brings together China's influential business leaders. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Project Manager at e8 Resources, an initiative designed to facilitate the development of global clean technologies within China. From 2009 to 2012, they were an Analyst at Benjamin Consulting Co., an advisory and consulting firm. From 2008 to 2009, they were an Associate at Capris Furniture Inc, a furniture ODM specializing in relaxed Rattan furniture.

Kent Zaitlik attended the University of Florida from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in East Asian Languages and Literatures. In 2009, they attended Fudan University in Shanghai and studied East Asian Languages and Literatures. The following year, they returned to Fudan University to participate in the Shanghai Municipal Goverment China-US Program. In 2011, they attended the University of California, Berkeley to study Digital Architecture.
