Mark Peterson is an experienced data scientist at Life-Science Innovations since May 2016, specializing in storytelling with diverse datasets. Prior to this role, Mark served as an Assistant Professor at Viterbo University from August 2014 to May 2016, where responsibilities included teaching statistics and biology along with conducting research and service activities. Mark also held the position of HHMI Postdoctoral Fellow at Penn State University from May 2013 to August 2014, focusing on research and outreach. Mark obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2015 and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota in 2008.
