Michael Macdonald is a seasoned engineering professional with over 27 years of experience in product and process engineering, currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at LifeScan since June 2018. At LifeScan, Michael leads technical teams and oversees multiple domains including concept and product development, data analytics, and product design control, while managing a budget for the engineering group and promoting a culture of innovation and technical change. Previously, Michael held various significant roles at Johnson & Johnson from 1996 to 2018, focusing on new product introduction, process engineering, and talent development. Michael's career began at Oilfield Chemical Technology Ltd, where responsibilities included the characterization of gas hydrate inhibitors. Michael holds a BSc Honours degree in Chemistry from Robert Gordon University.
