Adam Mefferd currently serves as Principal Associate Scientist at Life Edit Therapeutics, with previous roles at Precision BioSciences, Inc., where contributions included designing and managing research projects, optimizing AAV production protocols, and developing engineered cell lines. Adam also held positions as Scientist I and Scientist II at Precision BioSciences, focusing on AAV production for in vivo studies, purification processes, and training junior staff. Earlier experience includes research roles at Duke University and The Ohio State University, where Adam managed independent projects, developed CRISPR technology, and collaborated on studies involving cytokine levels in mice. Adam Mefferd holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from The Ohio State University.
