Nancy Witherspoon has extensive work experience in the medical field. Nancy began their career at Cherokee Health Systems in 2004 as a Physician, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the CMO/Physician at the Veterans Adminstration Med Ctr. In 2010, they joined HEALTHSTAR Physicians as the Medical Director/Physician. In 2018, they became the Medical Director at Life Care Centers of America. Nancy then joined ADMA Biologics, Inc. in 2019 as the Center Medical Director / CLIA Lab Director. Additionally, in 2019, they worked as a Family Physician, My Connections, Clinical Redesign Team at UnitedHealth Group, where they stayed until 2022.
Nancy Witherspoon holds a Doctorate in Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Nancy completed their Family Medicine Residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2001 to 2003. Nancy also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cabrini University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, they obtained a B.S in Business Administration from Cabrini University from 1986 to 1990. Nancy has several certifications, including being a Board Certified Physician from The American Board of Family Medicine since August 2003. Nancy is also a Certified Hospice Medical Director from the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board® and holds the Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care (CMD) from AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
