Valentin Zakharevich has been working in the technology industry since 2018. Valentin began their career as a J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professor at The Johns Hopkins University. In 2021, they moved to Symbiont as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at Lido as a Technical Lead and Software Engineer.

Valentin Zakharevich obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering between 2006 and 2010. Valentin then completed a Master's degree in Mathematics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2010 and 2011. After that, they earned another Master's degree in Mathematics from Leiden University between 2011 and 2012. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin between 2012 and 2018.
