Jon Calder completed their education at the University of Cape Town. From 2005 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, and Finance. Jon then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Statistics and Operations Research in 2008. Later, from 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science degree with distinction in Operations Research, focusing on Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis and Statistics. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jon Calder also obtained several certifications through Coursera.
