Amanda Barger is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a School Based Counselor at Youth Intensive Services since May 2022. In this role, Amanda facilitates individual and group counseling sessions for students in grades K-12. Concurrently, Amanda is a School Counseling Intern at Liberty Local Schools, where responsibilities include managing clients, conducting various counseling sessions, and developing classroom guidance lesson plans. Previous experience includes positions as Director of Operations at Kapacore Incorporated, Member Services Manager at Gurnee Park District, and various coaching roles in basketball. Amanda holds multiple degrees from Youngstown State University, including a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
