Pete Batista is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and community interpretation. Currently serving as a Freelance Community Interpreter for Comprehensive Language Access Solutions, TransPerfect, and Liberty Language Services since 2016, Pete provides on-site medical and educational interpretation services in Northern Virginia. Previously, Pete held a prominent role at the Federal Communications Commission as Chief of the Security Operations Center, where significant advancements in network security were achieved. Additional experience includes critical cybersecurity positions at the US Treasury US Mint and the Department of Homeland Security FEMA. Pete holds a Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CHI) designation, a Master of Arts in Administrative Sciences, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Chemistry.
