Luis Ricardo Henriquez, M.D., is a certified Pediatrician and Neonatologist with extensive experience in both public and private healthcare settings in El Salvador and currently serves at Inova Health System as a Pediatrician, Neonatologist, and Medical and Community Interpreter since July 2019. Henriquez has held roles as a Medical Interpreter for Mission of Mercy Maryland/Pennsylvania and Liberty Language Services since 2017. As Chief Director of the Neonatal Unit at the El Salvador Ministry of Health from 1994 to 2016, important contributions were made to neonatal care initiatives and programs aimed at reducing child mortality. Henriquez has also worked as a Private Practitioner and University Professor, offering training to medical students and counseling to parents on child health and nutrition. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, a Pediatrics Residency at Hospital Nacional de Niños Benjamin Bloom, and a Neonatology degree from Hospital de Ginecologia y Obstetricia de Monterrey, Mexico.
