Brenda Laverty is a Pricing Analyst at Liberty Insurance Ireland, a position held since September 2021, following an Actuarial Graduate role within the same company. Brenda's experience includes serving as a Pricing Intern at Liberty Insurance Ireland, where foundational knowledge of Actuarial Pricing and the General Insurance industry was developed. Prior to that, Brenda worked with First Derivatives as an FD Brand Ambassador and FD IMPACT Program Mentee. Earlier experience includes a Teller/Member Services Assistant role at BALLYMENA CREDIT UNION LIMITED, focusing on cash handling and member services. Brenda also completed a week of job shadowing as a Data Scientist at Allstate, gaining insights into Data Science and the insurance sector. Academic qualifications include a degree in Actuarial Science and Risk Management from Queen's University Belfast and ongoing professional development with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries since April 2022.
