Brian Whitehurst has a long and varied work experience. In 2022, they took on the role of Head of Regulatory Affairs for both Lukka and Liberty City Ventures. From 2011 to 2020, they worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York, where they co-led the New York Attorney General's Crypto Economic Working Group and led high-profile investigations focusing on cryptocurrency, blockchain, and DeFi matters. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as the International and Domestic Advance Logistics Lead for the Office of President William J. Clinton, where they served as a liaison between the Office of President Clinton and heads of state, political leaders, government officials, CEOs of prominent US and international companies, and nonprofit organizations (NGOs) from around the world.
