Monique Lister is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of Legal Services at Liberty (Bermuda) since June 2023, overseeing all legal affairs for the organization and its subsidiaries. Previously, Monique worked as a Freelance Attorney for LAWCLERK, focusing on commercial contracts and legal risk advisement, and founded Thrive Legal Solutions to provide strategic legal services to startups. Monique has held multiple senior legal roles, including Director of Legal Services at the Regulatory Authority Bermuda, where significant achievements included leading the development of Bermuda’s first Integrated Resource Plan and contributing to the Submarine Communications Cable Act 2020. Early career experience includes roles at EY and IBM, where Monique handled complex legal contracts and regulatory matters. Monique holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
