Maura Schauerman, LMFT, currently serves as Clinical Manager at LGTC Group since March 2022, overseeing a dual diagnosis program for mental health and eating disorders. Previously, Maura worked as a DBT Therapist at the DBT Center of Long Beach, where responsibilities included conducting individual therapy sessions and facilitating skills training groups. As Primary Therapist at Center For Discovery, tasks involved comprehensive assessments and conducting various therapy sessions. Maura's early career included roles such as Eating Disorder Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, contributing to expertise in therapeutic techniques like CBT and DBT. Maura holds a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Communications Studies from Gonzaga University.
