Elizabeth Rendon-Sherman has a strong background in various roles relating to finance, engineering, and IT. Elizabeth began their career as a Morse Operator/Linguist in the US Army from 1979 to 1983. Elizabeth then worked as an IT Support at Bendix Field Engineering from 1984 to 1986. From 1986 to 1988, they served as a Software Test Engineer at Intercon. In 1988, they became a Software Engineer at Ford Aerospace. From 1989 to 1997, they worked as an Associate at Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Since 1997, they have been the CEO/CFO at Lingual Information System Technologies, Inc. (LG-TEK).

Elizabeth Rendon-Sherman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from the University of MD from 1982 to 1986. Elizabeth then pursued a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University from 1986 to 1989.
