Doug Haigh has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Doug is currently working as a Sr Sales Engineer at LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc., starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tesla for several years, first as a Sr Designer in Energy Projects from March 2017 to February 2018, and then as a Development Engineer from February 2018 to October 2022. Before joining Tesla, Doug worked at SolarCity as a Sr Designer focusing on Utility Interconnection from June 2015 to April 2017. Doug also gained experience as a Sr Designer at Stellar Energy GP, Inc. from December 2012 to June 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr Lead Project Designer at SPG Solar, Inc. from March 2007 to November 2012. Doug also has previous experience as a Project Engineer at Pacific Coast Trane Company from November 2001 to March 2007 and as an Automation Engineer at Delta Controls Inc. from June 2000 to November 2001.

Doug Haigh attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Automation and Instrumentation. Doug focused their studies on Industrial Controls during this period.
