Mauro Balzani has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mauro started their career at Texas Instruments in 1990, where they worked as a Manufacturing Technician and later became a Manufacturing Technicians Supervisor. In 1993, they transitioned to a role as a Manufacturing Engineer before becoming a Process and Equipment Engineer in 1995.

In 1999, Balzani joined Micron Technology and held several positions over the next 12 years. Mauro started as a Processes and Equipment SR Engineer and then became a Processes and Equipment Engineer Shift Lead. In 2004, they took on the role of Engineering Lead Of Leads, leading a team in the production process. From 2009 to 2013, they served as a Production Shift Manager and later as a Manufacturing & Maintenance Manager.

Since 2013, Balzani has been working at LFoundry, a SMIC company. Mauro initially joined as a Manufacturing & Maintenance Manager and then became the Manager of Manufacturing. Currently, they serve as the Operations Enhancement Manager - Industrial Engineering Organization, where they focus on enhancing effectiveness and efficiency across operations.

Mauro Balzani attended Perito Tecnico Industriale in Elettronica e Telecomunicazioni from 1981 to 1986. During this time, they pursued a course in Corso Sperimentale in Trasmissioni Via Satellite. Apart from their formal education, they have also obtained additional certifications. In 2016, they completed a program called "Programma di elevata formazione per Dirigenti in \"Prevenzione Infortuni ed Igiene del Lavoro\"" at INFORMA (Formazione e Consulenza). In 2015, they obtained a certification in "Formazione sulla Sicurezza per Dirigenti" from Marsica Innovation & Technology.
