Yadgar Merani has work experience in multiple companies. In 2017, they co-founded Lezzoo and served as the CEO. In the same year, they also became the Chief Executive Officer at Fastwares. Currently, in 2022, they are working at On Deck as a Fellow.

Yadgar Merani's education history begins in 2012, when they attended Kaplan International College London for a foundation degree in Social Sciences, Politics and Law. From 2013 to 2016, Merani pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster. They then went on to UCL from 2016 to 2017 to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Legal and Political Theory. In 2018, Merani participated in the Startup School Online program, and in 2019, they became an alumni of Y Combinator after completing the W19 program.
